No longer starving myself
While I never felt like I was starving myself, I truly was. I would not eat all day and then binge at night on processed foods and empty calories, robbing my body of all it needed. This app I was talking about in my previous post, MyFitnessPal has opened my eyes. After journalling every last thing that has hone into my body for the past 5 days straight I am getting closer to the goal of 1400 (good) calories per day. Prior to this app I was consuming approx. 800 calories in a day, and even if that is all healthy, it is not enough to convince my metabolism that I am not going to starve it again. REVELATIONS! I never really understood or paid attention to calories before, mostly because of my strong dislike for math, but now I'm really able to understand the importance of understanding how many calories you are consuming in a day.
